Free, Online, Single Player, Arcade Games

I mentioned how excellent the internet is in getting chicks (or, for you ladies out there, meeting guys).  And I just wanted to tell you about a book that I've read, How to Succeed With Women.  This book is an excellent way to hone your skills at meeting girls (or, for you nerds out there, acquire them for the first time ;-).  You may know a lot of the stuff in this book, but it is very motivating; and it works like everything else in life - the more you immerse yourself in a certain way of thinking, the better you'll be at doing whatever you're thinking about.  It really is packed with excellent advice, take it from me.  So check it out - I've already found the lowest price for you at DoubleDiscount.com.  You can also get a used version at Half.com that may be cheaper.  I'm talking about the book by Ron Louis and David Copeland; don't confuse it with the book by Anthony Badalamenti.

FREE ONLINE SINGLE PLAYER ARCADE GAMEZ

Free Games Index Rating System Explanation

FreeArcade.com
A large archive of java freeware applets.  Both this site and the site A Fun Zone are memory drainers.  This site gets a yellow star though because it has screenshots for all games and good taxonomy.

Games.com
12 arcade games.  Must sign in to play.  Lots of players at this site.  Also has 12 board and word games, and 10 card and dice games.

Playsite
8 single player arcade games.  Part of Go2Net.  No sign up required.  Also has 18 multiplayer board games, card games, and word games.

Fred's F(r)iends
A hunting game, and a block pushing game called Pug.

A Fun Zone
49 of the freeware Java applets.  This site is annoying because almost every link opens a new window.

Funcom
A couple variations of tetris and the block pusher games.  Must sign in to play.

Bubblegum.com
Sixteen games not worthy of the internet, except for maybe Checkers and Xtreme Snowboard.

RedRival
Horrendous Shockwave games.  (FYI, games were not meant to be programmed in Shockwave.)
